pile of good things

I’m used to leaning on cracking jokes and being the smart ass, so it’s nice to play it straight a little bit. I think with this film, even more than the first Captain America, Steve Rogers has some issues, some conflicts and some trouble with the fact that he is a man out of time. But, given who he is as a man, his nature is that he puts that second and the mission first. He’s selfless. It’s a fun character to play.

Steve Rogers is flawless + a cameo from Bucky Barnes

The best is still Peggy’s look of “WTF?” in the fondue gif, because you know she’s thinking, “Oh my god, is he a moron? But I would still climb him like a tree.”

Steve Rogers is not afraid of strong women.
Stop it with the fic where Steve is terrified of Natasha, or Maria, or Pepper, or guh, Darcy. I guess people think it’s cute, or whatever.
Seriously. Strong women don’t make Steve scared, they make him swoon.
The only thing Steve is afraid of is that strong women won’t like him.

Though I don’t have a problem with Steve being terrified of Natasha.
Because everyone is terrified of Natasha.

"[Sam Wilson] is known for his physique. He’s described as 6’3”, 245 pounds, so starting Monday, for the next five months until we start shooting, I’m going back to high-school workouts and start doing two-a-days, so I get up to 230 pounds.” Sounds major! “I’m going to try not to get a job between now and then, so I can really focus on this. Because Chris Evans is in such good shape! I’m just a dude he dragged into the lab that he injected with some shit, but I got to stand next to him. So we shall see! When I got the part, I called my brother, and I told him, ‘Guess what I’m doing.’ And I told him the movie and who I was playing, and he literally just gave me a litany of history about this character. He went in his closet, and he dug out a copy of the very first Captain America with the Falcon in it. So I said to him, ‘Holy shit, you’re an Über-nerd!’”
“I feel like every kid deserves a hero, you know?” he said. “And now that Spider-Man is Latino, I’m happy that little black kids are going to have the opportunity to say, ‘Hey, I want to be the Falcon.’ You know? So it’s cool."

An old enemy resurfaces. A new hero rises. And a ghost from the past awakens from his frigid slumber with orders from a new master.

I like the nurse in the background of the last panel.  The one who’s like, “Do it. DO IT FOR ALL OF US.  GROPE HIM.”

Those middle gifs. Dr. Erskine is like “Howard, I did it. He’s hot.” But Howard is mortified. “What have you done, Abraham?!? You made him too hot.”
